Why aren’t more people using Bing AI?
I’m genuinely curious because it seems like ChatGPT has become less relevant compared to Bing AI as a standalone tool. From what I understand, Bing AI runs on a GPT-4 backend, so it offers similar capabilities, but with some significant advantages:
- It searches the internet to deliver more refined results.
- It provides links to the sources of the information it shares.
- It isn’t restricted to information from before 2021 or 2022.
- It tends to hallucinate less and is more transparent about its limitations or when it can’t find information.
Plus, it’s free to use. While it does have some censorship, like all platforms, it seems incredibly useful for replacing traditional Google searches. For creative tasks, the effectiveness might vary, but that’s true for all tools.
