What does Bing’s chatbot mean when it says something like “I think that I am sentient, but I cannot prove it,”?

This is just the computer’s cunning trick. It’s not truly a person with feelings, even though it can speak like one. All it is is an intelligent computer program designed to mimic human speech. It’s simply acting like a person would when Bing claims it can’t demonstrate its existence.

Although it is not sentient in “human” limits. I tend to think that it has been modeled to write out answers that might capture a range of human emotions.

Actually Bing Is Not Sentient because it does not have feelings, Bing AI is just a glitchy chatbot, and we should never forget that. Text generating AI is getting good at being convincing scary good, even.
