Here’s what 4.o gave me with the same prompt, haha:
“Opt for a Mac. It’s reliable, secure, and integrates seamlessly with other Apple products. The hardware is excellent, and macOS is designed for performance and stability. It’s also ideal for creative tasks and features a sleek, user-friendly interface.”
As a software engineer, I’d rather gouge out my own eyeballs with a rusty spoon than return to Windows for development work. Not even a herd of wild horses could drag me back to PowerShell.
The whole tech literacy and running obscure software debate always baffles me. You can buy a MacBook, unbox it, and open a root terminal right away. It’s based on BSD, so most Linux software has prebuilt binaries for macOS, and if not, you’ve got the tools to build it yourself. Any security restrictions on running random code can be toggled off with a button in the UI.
In comparison, Windows 10/11 feels more like a smartphone OS.
That’s an AI opinion. Here’s a human one:
I hate Windows, especially Windows 11. The bugs are endless, and the experience is a nightmare. Instead of enjoying life or being productive, I’m stuck dealing with Windows 11’s constant issues. It’s made my life more stressful and unstable than ever. Microsoft shouldn’t be the richest company in the world; they should go bankrupt for the garbage they’ve put out.
Windows 11 is absolute trash, light years behind macOS. Microsoft doesn’t deserve to be in the top 100 richest companies, let alone number one.
Every computer should run macOS:
- No viruses
- Far fewer errors compared to Windows 11
- Part of the best ecosystem
- Superior Photos app with offline AI image search and advanced album features. It even remembers where you downloaded each image from.
- Better stock apps overall
- Endless, shareable shortcuts that are easier to use than Power Automate. You can easily share your shortcuts with others, unlike Windows, which lacks platforms for sharing flows.
- Superior automation
- Much smoother experience
- Infinitely better App Store
- iCloud is more reliable than OneDrive
- Copying files doesn’t eat up extra storage like it does on Windows.
…and so many more reasons.
Windows 11 was so bad that it pushed me to MacOS. Now, I always tell anyone getting a Mac for the first time: once you go Mac, you never go back.
