I recently posed a question on another forum about AI’s future capabilities but realized I wasn’t specific enough, so I wanted to bring it here where the expertise might be more aligned with this topic.
Imagine someone aiming to create a video game with the quality of Elden Ring or a show as captivating as Breaking Bad. While it’s clear that AI isn’t there yet, as it’s still evolving daily, I’m curious—do you think we’ll reach a point where AI can produce content of that caliber in the future?
As someone who’s been closely following AI advancements and its applications, I can share that while AI today isn’t quite at the level of creating blockbuster games like Elden Ring or shows like Breaking Bad, the trajectory is promising. I’ve seen AI make impressive strides in generating content, from art to narrative. The technology is rapidly evolving, and with advancements in machine learning and creative algorithms, it’s plausible that AI could one day contribute significantly to creating high-quality, engaging content. However, reaching the level of creativity, depth, and nuance found in those examples will likely require further breakthroughs in AI’s understanding of human emotion, storytelling, and artistry.
AI is not yet advanced enough to create a complete movie or game without major issues. It requires immense computing power and AI is currently less intelligent than many believe.
