Hey everyone,I’m working on my internship report for school and just out of curiosity, I ran my introduction through Copyleaks. To my surprise, it flagged my writing as 100% AI-generated. The problem is… I didn’t use any AI at all! Now I’m freaking out because I don’t want this to mess up my grades. How is it possible for a completely human-written text to be labeled as AI? Anyone else had this happen? What can I do?
Why not just have AI rewrite it to sound ‘more human’? lol

Hate to break it to you… but you might actually be a robot!
It’s funny because most people write in ways that AI can mimic pretty well. But honestly, people like you, artists, musicians, and others have their own unique styles that AI still can’t fully match.AI detectors aren’t that reliable. OpenAI’s own models don’t even always recognize their own work! And different AI tools have their own quirks… like Gemini making weird threats, Claude being too robotic, and Perplexity being bad at emotions. It’s a mess.
It’s simple—the AI detectors are just bad at their job. AI-generated text isn’t always obvious, so these tools just make a guess. And sometimes, they guess wrong. If you’re worried, try writing your report in MS Word with change tracking on. That way, if someone questions it, you can show your edits as proof that you wrote it yourself. Not a perfect solution, but better than nothing.
Nice try, AI. We see right through you!

This is hilarious.People always assume anything that’s well-written must be AI. It’s like, ‘Oh no, this is too clear and structured—it has to be AI!’But at the end of the day, it’s just words on a screen. If you can’t tell the difference, does it even matter?
Same thing happened to me. My supervisor just told me to ignore it.One tip—AI tends to write in a very generic way. Try making your writing more specific and detailed, and it might help avoid false flags.
Imagine if this entire thread was actually written by AI… wild thought, huh?

Dear fellow humans,I find myself in a strange situation. I have written something entirely by myself, without any help from artificial intelligence. And yet… the machines believe otherwise. What do I do? How do I prove my humanity?Sincerely, Definitely-Not-An-AI
AI models don’t create ‘AI text’—they just predict words based on human writing. So in reality, AI-generated text is just human-like text put together in a different way. These so-called ‘AI detectors’ are really just guessing. They don’t work nearly as well as people think they do.
These tools are far from perfect. They mess up all the time, and false positives happen a lot. Don’t stress too much over it.
One thing I do sometimes is take something I wrote and ask ChatGPT to ‘make this sound more human.’ Kinda ironic, but it actually works lol.
