I updated my phone recently and noticed the Gemini app installed automatically. Does anyone know if it works like ChatGPT? After a few tries, ChatGPT usually gets answers right. How does Gemini compare?

I think Gemini is the only free voice AI chatbot without strict limits. I use it a lot for brainstorming and talking through ideas.

No limits at all? That sounds interesting. It could be a game-changer for everyday tasks. Thanks for sharing!
I switched to Gemini because ChatGPT keeps logging me out. For basic questions, they both work fine. I also pay for an editor tool with better models for when I need more specific results.

I remember when so many online tools were free, but now everything has a subscription. AI tools are heading the same way. I can’t imagine a day without ChatGPT!
@Kim
No offense, but isn’t AI supposed to help us learn instead of doing all the work for us?
Gemini avoids political and controversial topics entirely. For example, I asked about Nixon and Watergate—just history—and it refused. I prefer ChatGPT for these things. I also like Claude, but logging in with two-factor authentication every time is a hassle.
@Sterling
Yeah, I’ve noticed some gaps with ChatGPT on certain topics too. Thought it might be how I’m asking!
