We tested over 100 AI tools, and here are the best ones for everyday use and productivity (that are actually free and useful) for entrepreneurs

We tried 100+ AI tools for everyday use, and honestly, most weren’t worth it.

Here’s the reality—

Many free (and even paid) AI tools are just ChatGPT wrappers with little practical value or expensive enterprise solutions that use AI more as a buzzword.

Now that I’ve had time to evaluate them, I wanted to share a list of AI tools that I personally use regularly. All of these tools offer free versions, with premium options if you need extra features or higher usage. I’ve also noted whether each tool requires payment.

  • REWEB – Visual website builder for Next.js & Tailwind
(Free to use, with paid features)
Useful for creating landing pages or sign-up forms easily using a visual editor. You can convert it to code for more advanced builds if needed.

  • v0 – Create UI skeleton for your app
(Free to use, paid for extra components)
From the Vercel team, it makes building websites for your business simple.

  • Cursor – AI coding editor
    (Paid)
Autocompletes business logic and helps non-developers write code easily.

  • PDFGPT – Summarize and chat with PDFs
    (Free, with paid features)

  • Supermemory – Saves all your web bookmarks
    (Free, open source)
Organizes your X (Twitter) and web bookmarks.

  • SlidesAI – Create presentation slides
    (Free, with optional paid version)
    Generates slides using AI.

Let me know if you recommend any other free AI tools you use daily, and I’ll add them to the list. I’m also curious about requests for AI tools that don’t exist yet. This is just my opinion, and some free tools may be open-source, meaning you’ll need to host them yourself.

The only one I’ve found genuinely useful is Supermemory. The rest are just “ChatGPT wrappers with questionable value” or pricey enterprise solutions that use AI more as a marketing buzzword than anything truly practical.

Did you try CoPilot? What were your results? Personally, I’m really happy with it—it saves me so much time.

Claude is better suited for coding purposes at the moment.

What’s the difference between “Cursor” and MS Visual Studio Code with Cody or any other AI extension?
