We made a game using AI tools and our own engine… what do you think?

Hey everyone,

We’re MANU Video Game Maker, a game engine built for indie developers, solo creators, and gaming enthusiasts. Right now, we’re in Beta.

A few weeks back, we made a game using several AI tools, other industry resources, and our own engine. Here’s the video if you want to check it out: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ut7hqlYzQi4.

The idea was to combine human creativity (like making decisions, picking the right vibes, and crafting good prompts) with the speed AI brings to content creation. We had a lot of fun during the process and thought it’d be cool to share it here to see what you think.

Here’s a quick list of the tools we used:

With these tools, anyone can create something playable. Let me know your thoughts!

Hi, welcome to this forum! Just a heads-up for posting here:

  1. Share detailed descriptions of your work—what it is, how you made it, and the tools you used.
  2. If you’re discussing how AI is used in creative fields, try to keep the conversation respectful and open-minded.
  3. Please avoid posting anything involving illegal models or data.
  4. If you have links to repositories, models, or tutorials, feel free to include them!

Thanks for sharing your work—looking forward to seeing more posts like this.

This looks fun. I’ll give it a try!

Thanks! Let us know what you think once you’ve tried it out.

Does it support prompt-to-video for sprite animations? Is it free to use?

Hey! No prompt-to-video for animations just yet. The engine is free to use while in Beta. Once we launch commercially, there’ll still be a free plan along with subscription options.
