Does anyone else think Gemini isn’t helpful for basic stuff?

Gemini is great for processing papers and reformatting citations, but for general questions, it’s hit or miss. Maybe try polling the forum to see what others think?

Each tool has its quirks, but I’ve found good uses for Gemini, Claude, and ChatGPT. Maybe I could improve my prompts, but I like experimenting with all of them.

I think Perplexity and Claude work best for most tasks.

It’s Google. Even their search isn’t great anymore. Feels like Gemini is headed for the Google Graveyard.

Gemini is the worst. Sometimes it seems like it refuses to give any real answer.

Glad it’s not just me. It really does feel like it’s avoiding simple answers, almost like it’s overthinking or being overly cautious.

@Teal
Exactly! It’s gotten worse over the last few months. I’ve stopped using it because it’s just too frustrating now.
